Will the class prepare me
to finish a 5K?
I already walk regularly, what
can this class do for me?
I am really out of shape, will
this class be too much for
me?
Can I bring Children?
This group  will provide you
with motivation, weight loss
tips and a structured training
plan which will help you
establish an exercise routine
or add to one you already have.

Training for a particular event
adds a higher level of
commitment to your activity
schedule and it's fun too!
Certainly,  but it will be up to
you to supervise them.
Childcare is not available.
Absolutely. Walk, run, or a bit of
both if you like.  The class
includes an optional training
plan to follow all week.

I am too slow. Can I still train
with the group?
No one is "too slow".  Everyone
goes at their own pace, yet no
one is ever far behind because
we change direction often and
see each other multiple times
during a class session.
More than a class or a training plan that you do all alone, Walk n' talk combines
"Weight Watchers friendly " weight loss tips, motivation and training advice with
walking/running at your own pace in a setting that allow frequent interaction
among participants as you walk. Train gently  with an eye toward completing a
5k and learning to see yourself as an athlete or do it just for fun.

Come and see how much fun it is to train instead of suffering through
"exercise"!

Students should be healthy and able to participate in moderate exercise. Wear
comfortable walking clothes and athletic shoes.  All activities will be outdoors
so dress appropriately. Classes will be held rain or shine, but not in
thunderstorms.
